Rajanna Foundation (erstwhile Rajanna Trust
registered in 1999) is inspired by the work and
life of farmer, reformer, fighter and leader of
masses, teacher and mentor, social worker, poet,
playwright, novelist & philosopher, legislator,
parliamentarian and Raja Guru, Sri P Rajagopal
Naidu (1920-1997), fondly called as Rajanna.
The Foundation is the CSR arm of the $1.75
billion Amara Raja Group and was formed to
carry forward Rajanna’s ideologies and
philanthropic activities to the communities at
large.
These initiatives are mainly concentrated in Karakambadi, Petamitta, Rangampeta, and Diguvamagham. The Foundation has emphasized the creation of Social Infrastructure in Rural villages of Chittoor & Tirupati districts, by building educational institutions and amenities for the rural population, which resulted in inclusive growth and inspiring non-migratory living in the region.Rajanna Foundation also extends support to flood-affected villages and locations to the best of its ability from time to time.
